** IRTERNATIONAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT

      CODE (ISM CODE)

 

   I. GENERAL DEFINITION

      International safety management code

      (ISM)code means The International

      management code for the safe operation

      of ships and for pollution prevention as adopted

      by the assembly, as may be ammended by the

      organization. 

 

 

• THE OBJECTIVIES ISM CODE (ENSURE SAFETY ATSEA)
  

 The objective of the code are ensure safety at sea prevention of human injury or loss od f life, and avoidance of

 damage to the environment, in particular, to the marine environment, and to property.

 

 

II. SAFETY MANAGEMENT OBJECTIVES OF THE OUR

     COMPANY

     1.  Provide for safe practices in ship operation

          and safe working environment

     2.  Establish safeguard agains all indentified risk 

     3.  Continuosly improve safety managent skill of

           personnel ashore aboard ships, including

           preparing for emergencies related both  to

           safety and enviromental protection.

     4.  Procedures for reporting accidents and

          non-conformities with the provisions of this

          code

 5.   Procedure to prepare for and responsible to emergency situations and pocedures for internal audits and

       management reviews

 

  III. SAFETY OF OUR PEOPLE, OUR SHIPS AND THE ENVIRONMENT HAS ALWAYS RECEIVED OUR HIGHEST

       PRIORITY

       * At all times and in all places we will work according to the following principles :

         1.   All accidents and injuries are preventable

         2.   Every seafarer must have responsibility for his or her own safety, and for the safety of others

         3.   No business objective is so important that it will be pursued at the sacrifice of safety

         4.   Safe conduct of operation is condition of employment
         5.   A job is well done only if it is done safely

         1.   Think safety all the times

         2.   Always wear PPE

         3.   Risk assess all new task

         4.   Get permit to work if needed

         5.   Wear ear defender where there is excessive noise

         6.   Wear eye protection whwn required

         7.   Use proper ' Means Of Access'

         8.   Know the location of safety equipment & safety routes

         9.   Watch out for other peoples safety

       10.   Report all hazards & imcidents

         communicate effectively to the personnel involved.
